The official candidates of the first ever Man Of The World Pageant were formally presented to the media last July 20, 2017 at the ballroom of the Icon Hotel in EDSA-North Avenue. The candidates came from all over the world for the pageant’s inaugural competition. This is produced by Prime Events Productions Philippines Foundation Inc or PEPPS. Its President Carlo Morris Galang was elated to welcome the candidates. According to Mr.Galang, this is a realization of their dream to create an international pageant that can hold its own on a wider global platform following the success of Misters of Filipinas.
MOTW aims to select the best ambassador for their advocacy. He will be spreading educational awareness by forging partnerships with different schools and promote tourism. The candidates will play the role of educational asmbassadors wherein they will be exposed to Philippine tourism wonders and be immersed in various activities and school interactions in the provinces such as in Negros Oriental.
Meanwhile the Philippines’ representative Christopher “Chris” Dulagan who is a police officer, showed how hospitable Filipinos are and warmly welcomed his fellow candidates despite the competition. Though PO6 Dulagan was very well applauded and supported by his fellowmen, he still knew how tough the competition will be for him. Clearly, there were crowd favorites during the presentation. Some had their eyes on Mr.Egypt, others were charmed by Mr.Australia, while Asian sensations like Mr.Korea and Mr.Japan also elicited cheers. Everyone had their own predictions but no matter how captivating these men could be, there will always be surprises. We can only guess until the coronation night.
